For Morgana
Jun. 11th, 2020 01:01 pmClark really missed Morgana. It hadn't even been all that long since he'd seen her but when you were in love with someone and thought about them constantly being away for even a few hours seemed like forever. Or at least it did for Clark but he blamed that on the fact that 1) Morgana was AMAZING and 2) he was a bit of a sap.
So when he got the chance to visit her in the office he never passed it up. Of course the "opportunity" was usually just him using any spare time he had to come see her. Clark tried not to always make a big deal out of it, sometimes they just had lunch together when she had some free time. Sometimes it was just in her office and other times she would teleport them somewhere around the world.
Today Clark felt like flowers though. Yes, today was definitely a flower day and then maybe trying to convince Morgana to have a horse ride and picnic later. She worked hard but convincing her to go for a ride almost always worked. Horses and Clark were Morgana's two favorite things and he had the good sense not to ask her which was her absolute favorite.
Clark waved to Morgana's secretary outside her office and the man gave him nod, letting him know that it was okay to go in. If the guy ever questioned how Clark always seemed to show up when Morgana wasn't in a meeting or on the phone he never bothered to say anything. Superhearing could be handy that way.
"Surprise, surprise?" he said, smiling as he stepped into her office and held up the bouquet for her.
